Congratulations Dr. Schuh

Dr. Schuh is graduation regalia and congratulatory banners

Please join us in congratulating WANIC Skill Center Director, Kari Schuh who earned her Ed.D in Education Leadership this week from Washington State University! Dr. Schuh's dissertation titled, "THE ONLY ONE IN THE ROOM"—CAREER AND TECHNICAL SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH: NARRATIVES OF FEMALE STUDENTS OF COLOR, explores the transformative impact of supportive environments, early engagement, and the strategic use of community cultural wealth in shaping the STEM experiences of female students of color. Dr. Schuh's research not only advances knowledge in the field but also has the potential to create meaningful, positive change in the lives of students, particularly those from historically underrepresented groups in STEM. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Schuh is an asset to our Skill Center.
