Summer Timeline

Information is subject to change.

Tuesday March 26 (9:00 AM) - Thursday April 25 (3:00 PM): Summer Semester Application Window. Applications accepted online (not first come, first served). No enrollments during the Application Window.
Friday April 26 - Friday May 3: Lottery Period (no new applications accepted). WANIC runs lotteries and enrolls or waitlists students. WANIC enrolls students conditionally; if the student's district then informs WANIC the student is not eligible, WANIC will withdraw that student. Parents/Guardians may log into their WANIC account to check the status of their student’s application: https://apply.wanic.org
Monday May 6 - Saturday June 1: Secondary Application Window if any classes have space available.
Saturday June 1: WANIC applications close 3:00 pm. No new applications accepted after this time.
Friday June 10: Last day that students will be enrolled. No additional students can be added to rosters after 6/10. Students who have been waitlisted students will be notified they will not be enrolled beginning June 11.
By Monday June 24: WANIC emails all enrolled students with "First Day" instructions.
Thursday June 27 - Wednesday July 17 (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM): WANIC Summer Semester. Daily attendance required. No school Thursday July 4th - No school Friday July 5th.
Late July 2024: WANIC mails report cards home and sends grade and credit earned to student's high school for official transcription.
