Full Year Courses

For funding and reporting purposes, students must be registered in a public school in the Bellevue, Issaquah, Lake Washington, Mercer Island, Northshore, Riverview, Snoqualmie Valley school districts. Private and homeschoolers, please register with your local high school and inform them you are doing so to be eligible to apply to WANIC. 

Applications for 2025-26 Full Year programs closed as of July 15. Applications for 2026-27 will open early February 2026.

Applications received before March 31, 2026 receive priority. Students will not be enrolled before this date. Lotteries will be run and emails regarding enrollment and waitlist status for full year 2026-27 skill center programs will be sent by the end of April. After 3:00 pm March 31, Applications will only be accepted for programs with space available. Full year applications close 3:00 PM July 15.

If you are registered in the Bellevue School District applying to a skill center program within BSD, please apply to the skill center program in BSD's Synergy when you sign up for your other classes. You do not use the application link above. BSD students: only use the above link if you are applying to a skill center program outside BSD.

If you are registered in the Northshore School District applying to a skill center program within NSD, please complete the NSD Satellite Program Interest Form found here. You do not use the application link above. NSD students: only use the above link if you are applying to a skill center program outside NSD.

Note to students attending Lake Washington School District high schools: Based on the new block schedule for 2025-26, students who must be scheduled for Period 3 at their home high school and are applying to classes at DigiPen and Lake Washington Institute of Technology should only apply for the morning WANIC classes.

All 2nd Year Programs: Successful Completion of the 1st Year Program.

Aviation: Geometry

Baking & Pastry: Foods class strongly recommended

Culinary Arts: Foods or Culinary equivalent strongly recommended

Dental Careers: Biology - Students are required to have successfully completed and passed the course without any adjustments to the standards. Minimum 8th grade reading level ability

DigiPen Video Game Programming Year 1: Algebra 2 completed before enrolling in class

Health Science Careers -Nursing: Biology - Students are required to have successfully completed and passed the course without any adjustments to the standards. Minimum 8th grade reading level ability

Medical Careers: Biology - Students are required to have successfully completed and passed the course without any adjustments to the standards. Minimum 8th grade reading level ability
